This 1996 Nissan GT-R may appear to be a standard R33 to those who first see it, but it is actually the world’s fastest car and the only one to be located in North America.
This unit stands out because of its past. In order to jointly develop the GT-R Nismo 400R, Nissan joined the Nismo automobile modification firm in 1996.
Nismo took on the RB26DETT engine’s development and was able to extract 400 horsepower from it, which was impressive 27 years ago.

The R33 GT-performance R’s was comparable to that of the Ferrari F40 as a result of Nismo developing the brakes to handle the more power.
However, Brian Jannusch, director of sales at Top Rank Imports, is dubious about the Nissan GT-R Nismo 400 R model’s exact price.
Later in the video, he revealed that he had observed a driver operating the 400R in Japan. He had previously reported the most recent auction in which a price of over 700,000 euros was achieved.
The owner of the vehicle estimated its value to be around $300,000 and was astonished to learn from Jannusch that it is actually worth four times that much.
Additionally, according to Jannusch, the car’s rarity makes it difficult to evaluate.

There are only 40 unique cars available for purchase, according to records. The vehicle in the video is one of four that have traveled 30000 kilometers and been painted an ash color.
It was bought by a Canadian collector who is most likely the only one in North America. The Nissan GT-R Nismo R400 is an expensive and patient purchase.
According to Jannusch, the car recently went to a new owner, and he hopes that person will be content with it and not lock it up in a garage.
